Hello,
Thank you for viewing this small portion of my work.  The art shown is done in oil, watercolor, pastel, pen and ink and on porcelain tile.

I started painting years ago with oils then had a period when I concentrated mostly on watercolor and pen/ink combinations and on getting a Bachelor's degree.  During this time I also started working in pastel and on porcelain which is both fun and uncertain because you can't truly evaluate your work until you have sucessfully fired it.

Most of my recent work is in oil and most of my subjects are Still Life at this point.  When I get the desire to  change course there is always the other media available and plenty of beautiful scenery around me to paint.  Therefore, I never tire of  painting nor lose enthusiasm for art.  There have though been periods when life and circumstances made it impossible for me to paint.....so I've never experienced the steady and uninterrupted exposure an artist depends on.  God willing, there are now no obstacles on my path to using the talents He gave to me and I can paint everyday of my life.

I've had the privilege of studying with top artists from Carmel, California to New York City whose books and personal advice have been invaluable to me and I continue to learn more with each painting that I complete.
